Taking care of others is something that fills me with joy and satisfaction. Seeing the smile on a patient's face after having given them the care they needed is priceless. And while it can be difficult and exhausting at times, the gratitude of patients and their families makes it all worth it. Being a nurse has taught me a lot about life and about myself. It has taught me to be more empathic, more compassionate and more patient. It has taught me to value health and life, and not to take anything for granted.
