Yes it’s the Internet here, but I say love, true love, is really a decision. Remember all those pioneers in the west ….also people from the east…. over 125 years ago… They went to seek their fortunes. And in many places there were no women…..it was just frontier. Even back then … yes over 125 years ago…men sought brides from other parts of the world. And they wrote letters and then met and then united their lives …just letters…no pics…no internet. I don’t suggest it…but I am just saying this venue, this medium, the internet, is not so inefficient. We can see and talk and write - and all in real time. There are 2 kinds of love. One is a quick physical attraction, and one that is developed. The one that is a physical attraction is quick love, and very seldom it lasts…But the love that is developed lasts a lifetime. You may not feel the immediate love, but in time, you learn to love that person, and then realize that the inside of the cake is better than the pretty box. Can you see throght the “box”? I value what the book of Corinthians in the Bible says about love: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.”
