Once I was curious of how high I’d be able to climb on the roof of a school. There were ladders, and I took a friend with me, we climbed up to the highest levels but then realized we could not get back as the ladders were too low for us to grab onto. So we sat there for hours until my dad called to see where we were, where I played cool by saying “I’m in school”. Long story short, after I failed to come home for another hour, my dad came to rescue us, as if we were kittens on a tree. If “curiosity killed the cat” is true, then I might as well have 9 lives. Romantic part of this story is that I took my high school sweetheart to this roof as well, from where we enjoyed looking at the stars.
